Additive Manufacturing (AM)

Additive manufacturing at a quality similar to that of injection molding. Typical prodartis AG.

The material quality and process reliability of additive manufacturing technologies such as Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) or the Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) is so advanced that even small to medium-sized series of ready-for-use end pieces can be manufactured this way.

Undercuts or even cavities, which are a clear no-go in mold construction or milling processes, can be additively manufactured today without any difficulty. Plastic components can be equipped with more functions thanks to the new design freedom. Simply put: This is functional integration at its best. Whether it be spiral-shaped canals, entire hinges, or grid structures, developers can concentrate 100% on the function-specific design - without having to compromise.

prodartis AG will gladly consult you in the development of your future plastic components as well as the selection of the optimal manufacturing technology. With the help of our many additive manufacturing technologies, our years of know-how in the area of additive manufacturing - we have been active in additive manufacturing since 1996 - and our understanding of quality (ISO 9001 certified since 2016), we can lower your production costs and installation times and thus provide you with the highest possible added value. At a glance:
  • High flexibility: Geometry can be adjusted at any time
  • High complexity, it cost no more
  • The first parts can be produced within days
  • Customizable serial production
  • Reduction in bill of materials (BOM)
  • No storage fees: production on demand

Thanks to the prodartis-owned QM system and the sampling protocol that is used for each production series, we can deliver a quality similar to that of injection molding. Certificates of work are attached to the deliveries on request.

As soon as the part count the size of a fist ranges between 50 to thousands of pieces, or the plastic pieces are slightly more complex, the best motto for a successful product developer is the following: Think additively!
