Integration of functions
Multi-part assembly united in one single part!
Over several years, IMT has acquired a great deal of expertise in additive manufacturing and uses the technology for sustainable, weight-reduced, cost-optimised product design for the tool-free production of series components.
This also applies to a component for a medtech application: This part, the air guide unit, combines many functions: snap-on fastening fan, bottom air guide, air duct and air fan.
Conventionally manufactured, at least four components would be required for all these functions - if additive manufacturing can be used, one component is sufficient - and this without tools and without assembly.
